The GL7 is an LED-based signal flashing light in a compact housing for demanding operating environments and conditions with connection options via 12-24VDC or CAN bus. Thanks to its very compact design, it can be easily integrated even in confined spaces. It offers high efficiency with minimal space requirements, enabling flexible application options.
In addition, the multicoloured, flashing signal light impresses with its robust construction, which guarantees reliable performance even under extreme temperature and vibration conditions. Thanks to energy-efficient LED technology, it is low-maintenance and ensures a long service life with low power consumption.
FEATURES & RECOMMENDATION
In terms of protection class and environmental resistance, the GL7 offers an exceptionally high classification: it complies with IP6X / IPX6 (according to IEC 60529) and IPX9K (according to ISO 20653) – ideal for use in environments with high pressure/temperature cleaning requirements, dust and harsh conditions. Its areas of application range from indoor and outdoor use to construction machinery applications.
In the GL7-M1N-T version, control is carried out with a voltage of 12-24V DC. . The GL7-M1NC1-T version uses the CAN bus as its communication protocol. The permissible temperature range for both versions is –40 °C to +85 °C.
In terms of mechanical stress, the signal light is designed to withstand vibrations of up to approx. 110 m/s² and shocks of up to 1,000 m/s² (11 ms).
The GL7 is the multicoloured, compact version from the GL7 series.
Recommendation: If you are looking for a compact signal light with high resistance (to environmental conditions, vibration, shock), especially for harsh, industrial or outdoor applications, the GL7 is a robust solution that offers easy-to-understand, effective light signalling.
CAN
In addition to the classic 12-24VDC control (model GL7-M1N-T), the GL7 can also be conveniently and flexibly controlled via CAN bus (model GL7-M1NC1-T). With CAN support, the GL7 can be quickly integrated into existing CAN systems. Compared to the 12-24VDC version, which has three fixed light patterns, the CAN bus version offers up to 13 configurable patterns and four brightness levels.
